Senior Software FS Engineer

Team/Role Overview

You will be joining the IL development branch of the DMC Global group. The team consists of skilled and experienced developers specializing in front-end and back-end technologies, including React and Java. As part of a larger global group, your peers will be located across London and North America. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of the primary Documents Platform for the entire Citi Group, leveraging the latest AI solutions.

What you’ll do

· Providing software end to end solutions – including high and low level design

· Developing software based on the best practices and leveraging the usage of AI tools to maximize your productivity

· Working with Global team of Product Manager, Program managers, architects and other development teams

· Seeking for ways to constantly improve the platform with every task you are given

· Seek for automation on any manual work that you are exposed to.

· Delivering well tested quality products.

· Acting as a Technical Lead in your team – the technical go to person for junior developers to seek your guidance and help.

What we’ll need from you:

· Proficiency in React.js and its core principles (e.g., components, state management, lifecycle methods). Strong knowledge of JavaScript.

· Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks and preprocessors (e.g., CSS Modules, SASS, Styled Components).

· Experience with testing frameworks like React Testing Library, or Cypress.

· Strong experience in Java (JDK 8+ or 17 preferred) and object-oriented programming principles.

· Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.

· Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with front-end applications.

· Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Education: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems).
