Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is leading the transformation of analytics in the world of data with products like databases, data integration, big data analytics, messaging & real-time analytics, and business intelligence. The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Our mission is to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture.

Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture.

The ISV & ALM team focuses on delivering a world-class ALM platform, automation and embedded analytics capabilities for Microsoft Fabric. Our team aim to help customers and partners become successful by providing tools and features such as Fabric Embedded Analytics, Fabric Automation, Fabric Extensibility, Git integration, Deployment Pipelines and more.

Responsibilities

As a senior PM in Microsoft Fabric ISV & ALM team you will/should have:
- Proven track record of delivering successful products that customers love and adopt.
- Define the product roadmap for areas you own to help meet the team’s objectives (OKRs).
- Define and drive feature specifications and work closely with engineering teams to deliver against the roadmap you set.
- Interface with customers and the community for feedback and usage information to develop product insights.
- Capture market competitive and trend data to inform product direction.
- Work closely with customers and partners to support the delivery of customer-facing documentation, blogs, videos, and representation in conferences.
- Become a subject matter expert in ownership and domain areas.
- Collaborate closely with partner teams, engineering, UX and sales.

- Drive cross team collaboration with globally distributed teams.

Qualifications

- Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities; the ability to communicate requirements crisply and prioritize effectively.
- You have 5+ years of Product Management/Developer experience with a proven track record of defining, managing, and delivering large scale solutions.
- Strong technical background, preferably in related domains such as databases, BI and AI; must have the ability to discuss technical concepts in detail.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal, English and Hebrew)
- Experience working in cloud technologies, SaaS and PaaS services.
- The ability to understand the enterprise market, clarify customers’ needs and be a champion for our products and services.
- The ability to create simple user experience for complex needs, define end-to-end user experience and understand what works and what doesn’t.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Advantage: Experience with Azure technologies.
- Advantage: experience in developing software, developer tools and processes.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
