In Kornit's chemistry lab we develop new and innovative ink formulations.

The lab is composed of "wet" areas where ink is prepared, "dry" areas with analytical equipment, a chemical warehouse, a consumable warehouse, and a printer’s area. About 15 chemists who report to the professional managers are working in the lab daily

Reports to: VP Chemistry

Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha'Ayin

What will you do?

Managing the chemistry lab administratively, including:

· Enforcing safety procedures in the lab.

· Enforcing order and cleanliness.

· Managing the chemical and consumables storerooms, including items order from external suppliers and Kornit's central warehouse,

organizing the inventory, maintaining a minimal stock level, and performing periodic inventory counts.

· Handling chemical waste disposal.

· Maintaining lab equipment, including calibration and routine and break maintenance (working with external technicians).

Requirements:

What should you have?

· Chemical technician or chemical practical engineer.

· Ability to perform physical work, including lifting weights up to 25 kg.

· Basic reading and writing skills in English.

· Technical skills - an advantage.

· Experience as a safety officer - an advantage.

· Experience as a hazardous materials officer - an advantage.

· Experience working with chemical lab equipment - an advantage.

· Experience working with the Oracle system - an advantage.
