Description:

The Buyer is responsible for managing day-to-day procurement activities at the site level, ensuring the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services to support production and business operations while meeting cost, quality, delivery, and compliance objectives. The role serves as the operational arm of the procurement function, executing purchasing activities in alignment with corporate procurement policies and global category strategies.

• Material availability above target levels. 
• Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD). 
• Reduction in critical shortages and production disruptions. 
• Purchase order processing cycle time. 
• Inventory optimization and compliance with inventory targets. 
• Procurement compliance and contract utilization rates. 
• Achievement of local cost-saving and cost-avoidance initiatives. 

• 2–5 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment. 
• Experience purchasing direct materials, electronic components, raw materials, or industrial equipment – an advantage. 
• Experience working with international suppliers – an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle, Priority, or similar). 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. 
• Understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and manufacturing processes. 
• Ability to interpret procurement reports and performance metrics.
