PHY System Team Leader

We are looking for a PHY System Team Leader to lead and drive PHY system activities across the full product lifecycle, from feature definition through integration, validation, and delivery.
What you'll do:
Lead end-to-end 5G PHY system activities, from feature development to system integration.
Serve as the technical focal point for all PHY and RF-related aspects.
Define and own system-level requirements for PHY components.
Optimize and fine-tune PHY layer algorithms to improve performance and efficiency of base-station products.
Drive lab testing and validation using RF test equipment.
Own and maintain CI/CD flows for PHY performance and conformance testing.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the PHY team.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Software, DSP, RF, and Hardware, to ensure seamless integration.
What You Should Have:
Experience in wireless communications, PHY layer development, or system integration.
Previous experience leading or managing technical teams.
Strong understanding of wireless communication systems.
Good understanding of RF RX and TX chains.
Hands-on experience with RF lab test equipment.
Experience with scripting languages such as Matlab or Python.
Strong system-level perspective in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English, and ability to work in a global, multi-site environment.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of 4G / 5G physical layer specifications.
Experience working with Linux operating systems.
Background in advanced wireless technologies such as Massive MIMO and beamforming.
