Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore tug operating in Israel. You will support safe navigation, deck operations and towage work, working closely with the Master and Chief Officer in a hands-on, team-focused environment.
Key responsibilities:
Stand navigational watch and maintain safe ship handling
Assist with tug and tow operations, including mooring and unmooring
Monitor navigation equipment and maintain charts and publications
Assist with safety drills, ISM/ISPS requirements and deck routines
Support maintenance of lifesaving and firefighting equipment
Requirements:
Valid 2nd Officer (OOW) Certificate of Competency, STCW-compliant
Holding DP Full certificate.
Previous experience on tugs or offshore vessels preferred
Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
Good English communication skills
Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
