Quality Lead - Production

About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Lead – Production to establish and lead Pixellot’s end-to-end production quality processes across our multidisciplinary product environment, including hardware, software, and mechanical systems.

This role will own production quality activities across the entire product lifecycle - from design and NPI through manufacturing and field performance - working closely with R&D, Operations, Support, Supply Chain, and external manufacturing partners to drive quality standards, investigations, CAPA processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pixellot is the global leader in AI-powered sports video solutions, helping sports organizations in 70+ countries automatically produce and broadcast games using smart cameras, computer vision, and real-time highlights.

As part of your role, you will:

Define and lead the company’s production quality strategy, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead quality activities from NPI through mass production across multidisciplinary products.
Serve as the main quality focal point between R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and external manufacturing partners.
Participate in DfQ, DfM, DfT, DFMEA/PFMEA, DVT/PVT, and production readiness processes, ensuring quality requirements are incorporated throughout the product lifecycle.
Lead supplier quality activities including qualification, IQC, audits, SCARs, and performance monitoring.
Lead investigations and corrective actions for production and field quality issues across multidisciplinary products.
Own production quality metrics including yield, FPY, DPMO, CAPA, SPC, and RCA activities.
Define and improve production inspection, validation, and quality control processes across internal teams and external manufacturing partners.Develop and maintain the company’s QMS, quality documentation, and compliance processes.
Lead internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field).
5+ years of experience in quality engineering and/or quality management in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Proven experience working with EMS providers and mechanical suppliers.
Strong background in multidisciplinary production environments (HW + SW + Mechanical).
Hands-on experience with NPI, DFMEA/PFMEA, SPC, CAPA, RCA methodologies, and production validation.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC standards, QMS processes, and manufacturing quality methodologies.
Experience working with production lines, supplier audits, process investigations, and corrective/preventive actions in multidisciplinary manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with electronics assembly, mechanical fabrication, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
High ownership mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
Fluent English - written and verbal.
