Senior AI Engineer

The Tasks API team builds Nimble's frontier agentic products - systems that turn arbitrary web data sources into insights and structured data for our customers, running in production today.

We're hiring a senior engineer who combines strong backend fundamentals with genuine hands-on experience in agentic AI.

Requirements:

10+ years of backend experience, with scale experience - you've built systems that serve real external users and know how to keep them running.
2+ years of hands-on experience in an agentic product team - you've shipped meaningful LLM-powered products in production, not just experimented.
Deep familiarity with LLM concepts: prompting, tool use, structured output, retrieval, evals, multi-step workflows.
An analytical mindset - comfortable with performance analysis, optimization, and reasoning about non-deterministic systems.
Proven ability to deploy AI to production - you know what breaks and how to prevent it.

Experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Build and own agents end-to-end - from architecture and harness design to production deployment and continuous improvement.
Design evaluations that drive real quality gains: own the datasets, metrics, and experiments behind our agents.
Build the agentic infrastructure the rest of the team builds on top of - reliable, scalable, production-grade.
Bring product sense and connect what we ship to what customers actually need.
