To achieve that goal, our systems are deployed with multiple leading data providers in a variety of cloud and on-prem environments with unique security requirements. We are looking for a Senior DevOPs engineer who will assist us to ensure a smooth deployment and operation, complying with strict standards and adherence to best industry practices and with a potential and desire to own production systems and to perfect it.What You'll DoWork with Product, R&D, and integration teams to define and implement CI/CD to apply in multiple target environments for production, staging, and testing in AWS, GCP, and AzureAssist product in gathering and generalizing requirements from business partnersOptimize environments for security, performance, and cost; optimize processes for speedOversee and guide the team and business partners on the implementation of best practicesDefine and integrate monitoring solutionsUse tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, FileBeat, OpenSearch, and other tools to set up environments in a variety of scales and security levelsBecome a product deployment and operation expertRequirementsExtensive knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)5+ years building and managing secure distributed production environments in the cloud5+ years of experience in software lifecycle management for large-scale production systems, collaborating with product and engineering teams2+ years serving as a technical decision-makerProficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes, LinuxProficiency in cloud security practicesStrong technical presentation abilitiesProven mentorship skillsEnglish proficiencyNice to HaveLinux system administration experienceJava/MySQLCertified AWS Solutions ArchitectVeeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.As an equal opportunity employer, Veeva is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and growing a diverse workforce.
