R&D Program Manager

An innovative technology company developing wireless charging solutions for electric vehicles is looking for an experienced R&D Program Manager.

The position combines multidisciplinary development leadership, strategic partner management and involvement in key technical decisions shaping the future of transportation.

What You Will Do:
– Lead the full project lifecycle, from project kick-off through final delivery
– Oversee the development process and ensure delivery of the required business value
– Build, manage and monitor R&D project schedules, Gantt charts and budgets
– Guide multidisciplinary engineering teams, including system engineering functions
– Contribute to major technical, architectural and strategic decisions
– Support the definition of technical strategies and customer-facing technical interfaces
– Lead complex system integration processes
– Work closely with customers, the R&D headquarters, supply chain teams and subsidiaries in the US, Germany, Sweden and additional locations
– Lead technology implementation with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, infrastructure companies and other strategic partners
– Promote quality, agility, trust and timely project delivery
– Travel abroad occasionally for short business trips

דרישות:
– At least 7 years of experience managing development projects in a multidisciplinary company
– Proven experience in direct people management or matrix management
– Proven experience managing complex, high-budget development programs
– Experience with development programs combining mechanical, electronic and software components
– Hands-on experience leading complex system integration processes
– Strong expertise in requirements management and the technical aspects of product development
– Proven ability to plan, track and deliver projects according to schedule
– High proficiency in written and spoken English
– Knowledge of the automotive industry – Advantage
– Engineering degree – Advantage
– Previous experience in a start-up environment – Advantage
