Senior MySQL DBA | Database Administrator

A global fintech software company developing ultra-low-latency trading and market-data solutions is looking for an experienced MySQL DBA.

Employment: Full-time, on-site
Location: Jerusalem

What the role includes:
– Full responsibility for Development, Staging, and Production databases
– Hands-on database infrastructure development and maintenance
– Security, failover, replication, optimization, and backups
– Database design, indexing, SQL, and stored procedure optimization
– Close collaboration with Development, QA, and DevOps teams
– Serve as the organization’s database expert

דרישות:
– 5+ years of DBA experience, including at least 3 years as a MySQL DBA
– Hands-on experience with failover, security, optimization, backups, DB design, testing, and maintenance
– SQL / Stored Procedures optimization
– Ability to work independently as the sole DBA in the organization
– Experience with Python or Bash
– Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
–Good English, both written and spoken – mandatory

Advantages:
– C++ experience, particularly working with MySQL
– Financial background: FIX protocol / FX trading
– Jira, SVN, Jenkins
