We are searching for an independent, self motivated, creative, and organized product manager to focus on the LMS side of our product team. As a product manager you will be responsible for helping shape and refine our new and current products and create our technology roadmap. You will report directly to the VP of Product while working closely with the commercial and R&D teams. As the Product Manager, you will influence the product strategy, own your roadmap and produce specifications that evolve the platform’s feature set for both internal and external customers, and work closely with engineering to ensure quality deliverables on time.
What You’ll Do
Own the LMS Integration Strategy – Define and execute the roadmap for integrating
Copyleaks with top LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, Google
Classroom, etc.).
Drive the execution of all processes in the LMS product lifecycle– Including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
Understand the Education Ecosystem – Conduct user research to identify challenges faced by educators, students, and administrators regarding plagiarism and AI content detection.
Define & Prioritize Features – Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop features that enhance usability, accessibility, and effectiveness within educational environments.
Collaborate with Engineering – Partner closely with developers to scope technical requirements and ensure smooth implementation of LMS plugins, LTI standards, accessibility, and APIs.
Drive Adoption & Engagement – Work with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to enhance product onboarding, training materials, and engagement strategies for educators.
Monitor Performance – Define KPIs, analyze usage data, and collect feedback to continuously improve the product experience.
Ensure Compliance & Standards – Stay up to date on data privacy (FERPA, GDPR) and interoperability standards (LTI, SCORM, xAPI).
What We’re Looking For
3-5+ years of product management experience in education technology, SaaS, or
integrations.
Technically proficient: You have hands-on experience integrating with platforms and a strong understanding of technical concepts like LTI, API-based integrations, and edtech compliance. While you don’t need to be a coder, you’re a quick learner who can easily navigate new systems and troubleshoot issues.
Strong ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
Hands-on experience working with engineering teams to develop and deliver technical solutions; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Passion for education and improving learning experiences.
Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform decisions.
Familiar with working in agile methodologies
Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently
Nice to Have
Background in edtech, higher education, or K-12 environments.
Experience working with AI-powered tools or content detection solutions.
Familiarity with plagiarism detection, academic integrity policies, and related technologies.
