Growing your career with Optimove is basically guaranteed. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Infrastructure Engineering to lead our DevOps, SRE, and Security teams. This role is pivotal in overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud environments, ensuring robust infrastructure, efficient CI/CD pipelines, and stringent security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production availability, scalable architecture, and cloud best practices, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead the DevOps, SRE, and Security teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Drive infrastructure development initiatives, leveraging automation and orchestration tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery. Establish robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure proactive detection and resolution of issues. Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud spending and resource utilization. Enhance security posture by implementing and enforcing best practices, conducting regular audits, and staying abreast of emerging threats. Collaborate with stakeholders, including R&D leaders, operations, data teams, customer success, and solution engineers, to understand requirements and align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives. Design the group roadmap and prioritize initiatives based on strategic goals and customer needs. Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled and motivated cloud engineering team. Drive the preparation of technical proposals and responses to customer RFPs, showcasing the capabilities and strengths of the infrastructure engineering team. Lead annual penetration tests and security audits such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related functions. Hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, with proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Codefresh, GitLab CI/CD), containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), vulnerability management, and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible). Experience working with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and management. Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and services, including serverless computing, cloud storage, and databases\data werehouse (e.g., Snowflake). Proficiency in Linux-based systems administration and scripting languages such as python\bash. Demonstrated knowledge of networking principles and experience with implementing and managing security controls, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF). Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with Git workflows. Experience with cloud persistent storage solutions and data management practices. Ability to deliver infrastructure solutions at scale based on various metrics Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
