Technical Writer

We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The writer will be working with product and technical teams and will be responsible for creating and editing functional and technical documents and explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner.
The writer will collect and analyze existing specification documents, generate customer facing product specifications and Release Notes for our solutions, and will update the existing documentation for release over-release changes.

What You'll Do

Study product samples and gather information from product managers and developers.
Analyze, organize, and compile the information into different document types (such as, product/feature descriptions, user guides, release notes).
Standardize content across platforms and media.
Edit and review content written by SMEs.
Maintain a comprehensive library of functional and technical documentation.
Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage.

What We're Looking For

At least 3 years of experience in technical writing and editing of software documentation for global software companies.
Ability to communicate well with product owners to understand the company’s products and current documentation.
Experience with “Single Sourcing Documentation” – Mandatory.
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience migrating various sources of information into reusable topics and consolidating them into a well-structured document.
Good knowledge of Madcap Flare or similar tool – Advantage
Experience documenting APIs - Advantage
Bachelor's Degree. Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field - Advantage
Fluent written and verbal English (Mother-tongue – Advantage)
