System Engineer

A company specialising in defense and security solutions is looking for a System Engineer to join their company in Kfar Saba.

The role involves:
* Designing systems and preparing system and subsystem documentation in accordance with project requirements, such as specifications, compliance responses, interface and protocol definitions, ATP/ATR, etc.
* Providing guidance and actively participating in the development of system components and subassemblies (Hands-On).
* Leading technical aspects of product development projects, including subassemblies, subsystems, and multi-disciplinary systems.
* Acting as a technical interface with customers, preparing presentations for design reviews, and presenting them to clients.

Requirements:
* A strong graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university.
* A Master’s degree with a specialization in a relevant field is an advantage.
* 10 years of industry experience (required) in the development of multi-disciplinary projects and products, including hardware, firmware, software, and mechanics, with a focus on RF/microwave components.
* Experience in the development of digital hardware products.
* Hands-on experience in the development of systems that include Embedded Software and Firmware for FPGAs.
* Expertise in systems development involving RF, microwave, and wireless technologies.
* Specialization or experience in communications and/or radar is a plus.
* Practical knowledge of development processes (hardware, software, and mechanics).
* Familiarity with relevant simulation tools.
* Experience in design validation and transitioning projects to production.
* Previous experience in the development of military systems is an advantage.
* A multidisciplinary systems perspective with strong attention to detail.
* A creative approach to solving complex technical challenges.
* Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, combined with excellent teamwork skills.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in English.
