A vibrant medical device company located in Herzelia, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Android developer to join our team. This opportunity is designed for an experienced Applications and BE developer with strong background in BLE and data communications methodologies.
Responsibilities

Take ownership of the entire app development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Architect and implement robust, scalable, and efficient solutions while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
Continuously optimize application performance, ensuring smooth user experiences across different devices and screen sizes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Android development, and proactively share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

5+ years of proven experience as an Android Developer, with a proven track record of designing and developing high-quality mobile applications.
B.sc. in computer science or engineering
Strong knowledge of Android UI, SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes and rendering.
Experience with performance tuning, with a deep understanding of what it takes to create fast, responsive applications.
Proficiency in Kotlin (and Java) programming language, with a passion for coding and an eye for detail.
Familiarity with Git version control and continuous integration tools.
Experience with BLE communication – a must
Experience with Agile development, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and coding for automated testing
Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and services.
Background in software security – an advantage
Experience with working in a startup environment – an advantage
Proficiency in iOS – an advantage
Experience in medical device SW development – an advantage
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions to challenging problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional and overseas teams and stakeholders.
