Liquid Industrial Waste Systems Technician - Kiryat Gat

Job Description

This position is in Corporate Services (CS) organization in Intel Kiryat Gat.

Corporate Services (Production Infrastructures) supports all technical and logistics aspects required in order to maintain 24/7 manufacturing at the Clean Room at Intel Kiryat Gat.

This position holds responsibility for the overall maintenance and operation of Liquid Industrial Waste Systems at the site:

Conducts sampling and analysis of various systems in Liquid Industrial Waste systems (LIWS) area.

Helps operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial water, waste, and chemical related issues that can impact water quality across any water systems.

Provides practical and day-to-day interpretation of analytical instruments to determine quality and health of water.

Helps in working and coordinating with third party analytical laboratories to sample, ship and obtain results of collected samples.

Assists in preparing technical reports to present to a wide array of audience, both technical and nontechnical about the initiatives and performance of the water treatment division.

Supports in implementing new methods to improve result accuracy, turnaround times, and cost.

writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) relating to sampling and analysis.

Job requires working in shifts mode.

Qualifications

You should possess a Practical Engineering Diploma (הנדסאות ולא הנדסה) in one of the followings: Waste, Water, Chemistry, Mechanical or equivalent

Background in practical engineering, process, chemistry, liquid
delivery systems - pipes, pumps and system elements.

Relevant experienced of minimum 2 years in a similar job

Ability to work in shifts

Familiar with analytical instrumentation - is an advantage

Experience with process waste treatment systems - is an advantage

Written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew

Ability to work on diverse tasks in safety and quality manner.

Ability to solve relatively complicated technical problems.
