SQL Server DBA

A high tech company in Petah Tikva that deals with e-commerce solutions is looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA with a strong background in system design and comprehension.

This position is within the Data Science and Business Insights department, playing a crucial role in business decision-making and complex financial processes.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex financial reports (e.g., intricate queries).

- Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, and deliver timely, high-quality ad-hoc reports and analysis (using SSRS).

- Design, develop, and maintain data loading processes from various external sources using PowerShell and SQL scripts.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.

- Ability to design and implement business processes into effective and functional code.

- Solid understanding of data and schema standards and concepts.

- Proficient in database design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Capable of multi-tasking and thriving under deadlines in a dynamic environment.

- High standards for design, documentation, and testing plans.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Familiarity with operational automation through scripting.

- Knowledge of financial terminology (preferred).

- Experience with AWS (preferred).

- Proficient in PowerShell (preferred).

- Familiarity with SSIS (preferred).

- Experience with Snowflake (preferred).
