Inc!What you’ll do:Define strategic vision for UX strategy across Snap’s AR creation toolsWork with Lens Studio Product Managers to iterate UX solutions and strategiesDemocratize AR creation through generative AI and LLMsWork closely with Engineering teams to build and execute on strategic UX initiativesDocument and evangelize best UX practices at SnapProvide feedback and give guidance to other designers in crits and work sessions.Gather and evaluate user requirements and behaviorKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to mentor younger designers and help develop their skills and perspectivesAbility to define and lead independently in a large ambiguous spaceKnowledge of Interface standards and guidelinesExcellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detailAbility to effectively influence, communicate and coordinate with other disciplinesAbility to define principles and clearly communicate design decisions and strategyAbility to prototype interactive experiencesHands-on experience with AI tools and applying them to solve UX problems at the consumer levelMinimum Qualifications:BS/BA degree or equivalent years of work experience8+ years of UX/product design experience for web or desktop applicationsPortfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/UX and Visual Design workPreferred Qualifications:Background working with both internal and external partners and agenciesExperience working with Product and Engineering teamsRefined taste in art and an eye for designIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information."Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
