Incident Response Student

Job Description

The Cyber Incident Response in Israel, located in Petah Tikva is seeking new students to join our team. The students will join our efforts to secure Intel's environment from the on-going changing cyber security threats. Our team is responsible for the monitoring, analyzing and responding to all security incidents across Intel's environment including the enterprise networks, endpoints, cloud environment, Identity management and more.

Day-to-day work could include defining security policies, monitoring cyber security events, malware and network attack analysis, data analysis, incident response and more. These roles require a passion for quality, security, automation, and the skills to understand complex enterprise systems with a desire for continuous improvement, innovation, and challenging the status quo.

Qualifications

-The candidates must be actively pursuing a BSc/MSc in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or other relevant field with at least 3 semesters until graduation.

-Availability of at least 2-3 days/week is required. Some flexibility in working hours will be required for afternoon and evening meetings.

-Knowledge and understanding of information security and security tools and controls (such as AV, EDR, AD, FW, IPS, Proxy, etc)

-Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English (written and spoken).

-Understanding in following areas: endpoint security, network security, cloud security, identity management, IT security fundamentals,

-Ability to drive projects to completion while working independently.

-A collaborative team player with good attitude, trustworthy, knows when to push and when to stop

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
