*We Are Looking for a Backend Team Lead for a Fintech Company in TLV!*

Leading a dynamic team of backend engineers and AI/ML specialists, your contributions will directly impact key performance indicators and overall success.

This position is both strategic and hands-on, involving the architecture and implementation of scalable systems that power core financial risk.

_*Key Responsibilities:*_

Lead a highly skilled team that architects and builds scalable systems to detect and mitigate financial risks in real time.

Work closely with the business and senior leadership.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML engineers, product managers, analysts, and other engineering squads, to align risk management strategies with business goals.

Proactively maintain the stability, security, and adaptability of financial risk management systems.

Leverage data analysis and insights to ensure alignment with growth and evolving business needs.

Respond quickly and proactively to emerging trends, delivering impactful solutions to protect financial success.

_*Requirements:*_

B.Sc in computer science or equivalent.

Experience managing a team (preferably 2+ years) and leading projects hands-on from start to finish (preferably 8+ years, focusing on system architecture).

Proficiency in modern system architecture with large-scale and high-performance systems.

Impact-driven – use data to ensure every task moves the needle and utilize resources to maximize the team's impact.

Team player with strong communication skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Creative, solution-oriented, and able to maintain a ‘can do’ attitude while working efficiently under pressure and uncertainty.

Adapt quickly to changing business needs.

Passion for data.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Fluent in English.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with software development in Python.

Experience with cloud technology.

Experience in managing data specialists (AI/ML engineers, analysts).
