Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with clients, couriers, and operational departments.
Verify and maintain quality assurance checks.
Keep accurate logs of all transportation and goods.
Manage product classifications for import/export shipments.
Complete freight claims for damaged shipments.
Coordinate domestic, international, and warehouse transfer shipments.
Handle internally managed orders and the movement of externally processed WIP.
Serve as the primary contact with suppliers regarding material movements.
Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders for shipment pickups and deliveries.
Prepare and process necessary documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, export documentation).
Provide rate quotes for shipments.
Maintain and update standard operating procedures.
Validate freight bills and coding from third-party billing providers.
Ensure record-keeping compliance with company policies.
Work with warehouse personnel to prepare shipments and understand regulatory requirements.
Determine load sizes and special handling requirements.
Participate in process improvement initiatives (PPI).
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Organized, logical, and adaptable to changing policies and procedures.
Team player in a fast-paced, pressured environment, with strong communication skills.
Problem-solving skills related to sales, finance, and transportation, both domestically and internationally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and other relevant software.
Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years of university or college education or 2 years of office experience.
