Intermediate QA Engineer

Rep is the first AI-powered Concierge (sales chatbot) for eCommerce. It proactively engages disengaged site visitors and offers personalized shopping assistance, driving more sales while handling up to 90% of support requests.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our AI-powered Concierge platform. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving the overall product quality by developing and executing detailed manual test plans.

Responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing for web-based applications.
Execute manual test cases, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Continuously improve QA processes by identifying gaps and implementing best practices.
Provide feedback on usability and contribute to improving the customer experience.
Requirements
2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing.
Engineering or Computer Science degree.
Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).
Experience testing web applications and APIs.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to document and communicate findings clearly.
Experience with basic database queries (SQL or NoSQL).‍
Preferred: Exposure to AWS services, Jenkins, MongoDB, and Shopify.
