Hardware Development Team Leader

Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Hardware Development Team Leader to manage and drive the development of high-frequency computer boards. This is a hands-on position (80%) with partial managerial responsibilities (20%), requiring strong problem-solving capabilities, technical leadership, and the ability to mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of hardware engineers, providing technical direction, guidance, and professional mentoring.
• Design, develop, and integrate high-frequency electronic circuit boards.
• Manage and execute multiple development projects in parallel, ensuring milestones, quality, and deadlines are met.
• Serve as a hands-on problem solver during design, testing, and integration phases.
• Create and review technical documents including schematics, BOMs, test plans, and design reviews.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams: system, software, RF, and manufacturing.
• Utilize task/project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday, Asana) to plan and track team deliverables.
• Mentor team members, develop their skills, and support technical decision-making.

Own and resolve complex issues from design through validation

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
• At least 10 years of experience in hardware development, with a strong focus on high-frequency board design.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in team leadership or management roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with lab testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
• Proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Mentor).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in parallel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and self-sufficiency in complex debug scenarios.
• Fluent English – verbal and written communication.
