Service Material Planner Team Leader

What we are looking for:

Nova seeks a Service (RMA) Material Planner Team Leader to join our operations organization and take ownership of material planning, replenishment, and availability to support RMA repair activities and meet customers service delivery targets.

In this role, you will become an integral part of the Supply Chain team, ensuring an efficient and continuous repair flow by translating demand, repair plans, priorities, and operational requirements into actionable material plans.

As a Service Material Planner TL, you will lead and develop the Service Material Planning team and play a key role in execution and short-to-mid-term planning, while leading and coordinating material planning activities across local and global teams. You will ensure alignment between supply, inventory, repair capacity, and operational priorities, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions to avoid material shortages and delays.

What will you be doing:

• Lead, manage, and develop the Service (RMA) Material Planning team, including setting priorities, allocating workload, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing guidance and support.
• Own the end-to-end material planning and replenishment process for RMA repair activities, ensuring material availability in line with repair plans, customer priorities, and service-level targets.
• Monitor material availability, inventory levels, shortages, excess and aging inventory, and proactively identify risks that may impact repair execution or customer commitments.
• Establish and monitor planning-related KPIs, identify gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve service levels, inventory performance, and planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with global teams to align priorities, resolve supply constraints, and ensure effective execution across local and global sites.
• Continuously improve planning processes, tools, systems, and work methods to increase efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness.
• Provide clear visibility to management regarding material risks, shortages, constraints, priorities, and recovery plans.

• At least 5 years of experience in Planning, demand analysis, material availability, inventory management and experience in team leadership.
• Experience working in a complex, global, and cross-functional operational environment.
• Strong understanding of material planning, MRP, replenishment, inventory management, supply constraints.
• Experience with ERP / Oracle Cloud / Oracle Fusion Cloud is an advantage
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations to management.
