junior Board Design Hardware Engineer

XTEND is seeking a motivated and versatile Board Design Engineer to join our Hardware (HW) team. You will work closely with our senior engineers, contributing to R&D efforts and enhancing our cutting-edge systems from concept through mass production.

Responsibilities

Design and layout multi-layered PCBs for analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.
Perform component placement, routing, and overall board layout optimization.
Select electronic components and create detailed schematics.
Execute Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and perform hands‑on bring‑up of new electronic designs.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and cross‑functional engineering teams throughout the design lifecycle
Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in board design.
Proven experience in PCB design and development.
Experience in PCB layout methodologies and best practices.
High motivation and strong ability to learn new tools and technologies.
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Hands-on approach, solution-oriented, self-motivated, and strong teamwork qualities

Advantages

Proficiency with Altium Designer software
Experience in hands-on soldering, wiring, and electronics lab work
