Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights, developing data solutions, and supporting business decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Redshift, AirFlow, AWS cloud, and Looker.
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data integration from various sources.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain data models, schema designs, and database queries.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and systems.
Monitor BI platform performance and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides for BI solutions.
Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and best practices.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in BI development, data analytics, and data engineering.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker or Power BI or Tableau.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Redshift, PostgreSQL, and\or MySQL.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices.
Experience with programming languages like Python.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
