You'll be hands-on in optimizing processes and resolving issues with processes and process equipment.Key areas of responsibility:Develop and optimize chemical processes for international industrial applications.Perform literature reviews, write detailed work plans, and manage laboratory and pilot scale tests.Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.Monitor and analyze results, to ensure optimal process performance.Define the process and scale-up paraments required for the industrial scalePrepare comprehensive reports and present your findings to both internal teams and external clients.Participate in engineering document preparation and review (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, equipment lists, etc.).Conduct improvement studies on company property equipment and implementation of new technologiesImplement enhancements to work procedures.International travel for project oversight and assistance.Qualification / ExperienceMandatory requirementsB.Sc. in chemical engineering / Biotechnology Engineering, or a related field.5-10 years of experience in the chemical industryProven experience with chemical process R&D, optimization, and troubleshooting.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsEnglish literate - excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.Willingness to travel abroad.Additional requirementsExperience with chemical process R&D, optimization and troubleshootingExperience in using process simulation software (ASPEN) and data analysis (JMP)Able to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.Strong research skills, including the capability to read and interpret scientific articles and conduct comprehensive literature surveys.CompetenciesKeen to learn new technologies.Independent learnerTeam playerWorkplace: Katzrin and Yokneam - ISRAEL
