Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries.About the RoleJob Purpose & Responsibilities:Key Performance Areas Tasks Performance IndicatorTyre fitting and removalCorrectly lift motor vehicle Utilise correct tools for the jobCorrectly fit tyres to rim• Fit wheels on to motor vehicles correctly Match dual wheels correctly Report any defects to the Site Supervisor e.g. studs, washers, and wheel nutsInflate tyres according to manufacturer’s specificationsApply safety standards Brand tyresClean and paint rims before fitting tyresTorque wheel nuts to manufactures specificationsAppropriate and timely communication with relevant partiesUndertakes pressure and torque checksCustomer serviceAdvise Site Supervisor on appropriate action, who subsequently assists the customersReceive customers in a friendly manner and with a smile Always clean and presentable Housekeeping and asset managementHandles tools with care and correctlyEnsures work area and yard are always cleanEnsures machines & tools are always clean, and stored correctly and safelyEnsures dressing rooms are always presentable and neatResponsible for ensuring company property is not damagedHealth and SafetyAdheres to Health & Safety standards in the workplace and does not endanger other parties.Complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act Ensure Personal Safety Equipment and facilities provided by the company are in good and clean condition.DocumentationCorrectly complete tyre change slips for wheel changes and hands them in timelyPrepares survey reports correctly and hands them in timelyClocks in and out at correct times as per shift by correctly signing the time registerGeneralUndertake all reasonable requests and instructions, given verbally or in writing that falls within the parameters of own line of duty.• Willing to “go the extra mile” in achieving objectivesQualifications & Experience RequiredMinimum selection criteria Personal attributes• Standard 7 or equivalent• Basic English literacy• Honesty• Integrity• Team playerWHAT WE OFFERAt Bridgestone, what really matter is to foster co-creation opportunities and empowering you to be creative and curious to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for future generations.
