Software Engineer III, Google Cloud Filestore

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:
Experience with cloud computing concepts and technologies.
Experience with software development in C++ or other general purpose programming languages.
Experience leading technical design and development, with knowledge in clustered and concurrent programming.
Knowledge or experience with file systems and storage, and of distributed systems principles and concepts.

Responsibilities
Define, design, and implement key components, built from the grounds-up.
Participate during the ramping up of the project, and influence critical architecture and design decisions.
Work with peers from other aspects of the product development lifecycle, including all filesystem engineering teams, product management, program management, SRE, UX/UI.
Work with product and customers, to best fit future requirements, developing code primarily in C++.
