Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join IDE Technologies, a global leader in water treatment and desalination solutions. This pivotal role involves the design, review, and execution of factory-scale electrical systems for complex, process-driven industrial facilities.

What You Will Do:

Design & Review: Lead the design and thorough review of industrial electrical systems for various process facilities, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
System Components: Focus on the design of electrical panels and Motor Control Centers (MCCs).
High Voltage Systems: Utilize expertise in High Voltage (HV) system design, including defining and specifying power transformers based on facility power supply requirements and demand.
Equipment Specification: Define and select power transformers and motors based on mechanical requirements and load calculations.
Vendor Management: Collaborate extensively with external vendors and suppliers, managing internal organizational interfaces to advance project tasks.
Project Execution: Oversee and control tasks, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules and deadlines.

What You Will Bring:

Mandatory Education: Must hold a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and be a Registered Engineer (רשום בפנקס המהנדסים).
Mandatory Licensure: Valid “Electrician-Engineer” license (רישיון חשמלאי-מהנדס) is required.
A “High-Current License” (רישיון זרם חזק) is a significant advantage.
Technical Experience: Demonstrated practical experience in designing industrial electrical systems, including electrical panels and MCCs.
HV & Equipment Knowledge: Expertise in HV electrical systems design, defining power transformers, and defining/selecting motors and starters (מתנעים).
High proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Previous experience working for an engineering design firm is a significant plus.
