Roles & Responsibilities

Scope of work – Events

Provide on-ground support for all events & engagements Negotiate for the most feasible & cost effective venues Expertise in drafting event related communication- Theme , Invite, thank you letters, agenda, feedback form One POC for suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment Source, negotiate & coordinate logistical elements of the event Estimate for an event budget and process invoices Anticipate attendee needs and make arrangements accordingly Manage post-event reports Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success Coordinate operations to ensure smooth delivery of every event Supervise all staff on the day of events (AV team, hotel, caterers, artists etc.) Do a thorough check of event arrangements with all stakeholders involved Actively participate in planning employee engagement activities Have good grip on oral & written communication

Experience and Skills -

Education & Work Experience: Post graduate/ Graduate from a reputed institution with around 1-3 years of work experience in conference planning
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse natures
Smart & sharp candidate with meticulous attention to detail
Pleasant personality and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
A knack for problem-solving
Customer-service orientation
Flexibility to travel as needed
Executive presence and assertiveness.
Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations and exercise judgement in variety of situations.
Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills.
High degree of responsibility and ownership, strong multitasking, coordination and tenaciously looking for ways to get results.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
