We are looking for a Bookkeeper that will manage the Global Shipping Activity Profit & Loss .

Major areas of responsibility

Follow UP On agencies accounting processes

Responsible for agencies adherence to ZIM best Practice re accounting process : POs MM SOA DA (etc. etc.) and performance on time.
Issuing periodical BI & Agfa reports
Verifying the data completeness, and checking lack of data .
Reviewing this subject by issuing reports in SAP; AGFA and Legacy

Verification and exceptions

Detecting exceptional posting
Detecting Abnormal amounts
Comparisons between agents’ provisions to actual.
Accounting Quality Assurance.
Exceptions verification with Shipping BUs , Operation & Logistics Units ect.

Requirements:

Certified Bookkeeper- Type 3 - a must
2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of SAP
Shipping Activity experience (Advantage)
Knowledge of Office – especially Excel, outlook & PPT.
Knowledge of BI (Advantage)
Good level of English
Willingness to preform extra hours especially during balance sheet preparation
