Work Package Controller

Job summary:

The Work Package Controller is responsible for managing and controlling work packages within a project.

This includes monitoring progress, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the work packages.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and track the progress of work packages, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

- Coordinate with project managers, team members, and external vendors to gather necessary information and updates on work package status.

- Analyse and evaluate work package data to identify any potential risks or issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Prepare reports and presentations to provide updates on work package status, including key metrics, milestones, and budgetary information.

- Assist in the development and implementation of work package processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding work package management best practices.

- Conduct regular reviews of work package documentation to ensure accuracy.

- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on work package Budgets.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent work experience
Proven experience in project or work package Controlling, budgeting, or similar roles.
Strong analytical skills for evaluating work package data and identifying trends, issues, or risks
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills
Problem-solving abilities to develop solutions and implement mitigation strategies
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data analysis, and reporting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
