The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.The candidate needs to have ability to work independently and in a team and good Excel skills.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONIf this is you, you'll be working with controlling and performing the following tasks:Process and verify vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in accordance with company policiesMaintain accurate vendor records and reconcile vendor statements to internal accounting recordsPerform regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerProcess bi-monthly payment runs and manage wire payment distributionsPerform bank reconciliationsMonitor and maintain aging reports, ensuring timely payment of invoicesRespond to vendor inquiries and maintain professional relationships with suppliersAssist with month-end closing procedures and financial reportingSupport annual audit requirements by preparing requested documentationMaintain organized digital filing system for all AP documentationIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiencyWHO YOU WILL WORK WITHYou will report to the accounting manager and work with two assistant controller and one more AP accountant.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree or professional certificate in Accounting, Finance, bookkeeping or related fieldProficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Priority, or similar ERP systems) - SAP R3 preferredStrong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsNIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
