Senior Applications Enablement Engineer

Your Team & Role :

We are seeking a customer-facing Application Enablement Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application blueprints for utilization by Zadara’s customers and partners. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will architect solutions and either implement or assist our partners and customers in implementing blueprints using Zadara’s software stack and APIs, empowering developers and users to effectively leverage our technology.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps, proficiency in programming languages, and cloud computing, along with excellent communication skills to support stakeholders in maximizing Zadara’s Edge cloud stack capabilities. The Application Engineer will be an integral part of Zadara’s product management team and will also serve as a subject matter expert for end-user applications within Zadara.
Your day to day :
Collaborate with Zadara customers to implement their applications on the Zadara Edge Cloud Stack.
Co-architect solutions leveraging Zadara's partner ecosystem.
Develop application deployment guides and share knowledge through blogs and white papers.
Advocate for customer needs and influence the Zadara Edge CloudStack roadmap within the product management group.
May need to travel to visit customers and meet at conferences.

What you bring:
Technical Skills:
Proven experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes
Familiarity with cloud APIs, including AWS API and potentially other hyeprscallers
Solid understanding of storage systems and cloud technologies
Experience with infrastructure as a service (IaaS) or edge computing platforms (preferred)
Passion for technology and a desire to learn new things
Business Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to design and implement complex solutions
Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements
Experience writing technical documentation, including deployment guides, blogs, and white papers

Experience:
4+ years of experience in a technical role, ideally within cloud computing or IT infrastructure automation (or a combination of both).
Experience working with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (minimum of 2 years).
Experience designing and implementing technical solutions (either in cloud environments or on-premises).
Experience collaborating with customers and partners on technical projects (a plus).
Experience writing technical documentation (a plus).
Experience working with private APIs or integrating with external APIs.
Experience with storage systems and data management (a plus).
Experience specifically working with the Zadara Edge Cloud Stack (a major plus).

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
