Reports to: Quality & Data Director

Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha'ayin

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and strategic Data QA Manager to lead our data quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing processes that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our data assets. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, product managers, and business stakeholders to uphold data integrity across all systems and workflows.

What Will You Do?

Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute the organization’s data quality assurance strategy.
• enforce data quality standards, rules, and validation checks.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts & QA specialists, providing guidance and professional development.
• Establish quality KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor data health.

Data Quality Management

• Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual data validation processes.
• Define and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with data engineering teams to identify, document, and resolve data defects.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data issues and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor for missing, duplicate, inconsistent, or outdated data.

Testing & Validation

• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems.
• Ensure data transformations meet business rules and technical requirements.
• Perform regression testing on data systems after updates or migrations.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure upstream data collection meets quality standards.
• Communicate data quality issues and improvement plans to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Partner with compliance and governance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

What should you have?

• Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data quality assurance, data management, or a related field.
• 2+ years in a managerial or team lead role.
• Technical Skills
• Strong SQL & Snowflake skills for data validation and investigation.
• Experience with ETL testing, data warehouses, and big data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Familiarity with data quality tools (e.g., SAS, Great Expectations, Informatica DQ, Talend).
• Understanding of APIs, data integration, and data governance frameworks.
• Soft Skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data profiling.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
