We are looking for a Senior principal architect to our Workflows group

As a Senior principal architect in the Workflows group your responsibilities will be:

Keep the Workflows engine architecture up to date and guide the teams on how to add or mend existing architecture.
Workflows is a platform that touches almost every product and feature in the company. You will need to keep contact with other teams and evangelize our engine.
Make sure the engine is simple enough to use for partners who are not part of the team.
Come up with high level designs and work with the engineers in the group on their lower level designs and smaller feature technical designs.
You will be expected to set and maintain the standard for coding, resilience and stability for the group's services and add governance mechanisms for that.
You will have your say in which technology stack we use for the products and features we develop, which language, framework, DB, message protocol etc'.
You will be part of the architecture guild in the engineering org, contribute from your expertise and represent the group as needed in order to assist other groups in understanding how to work with Workflows, educate them on available features and asses high level estimates of amount of work in order to support new ideas that come through.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 12 years hands on experience in the software development field with experience in at least one of the following: NodeJS, TypeScript, Java, Python
Ability to come up with quick solutions and put them into code
Proven backend development and design capabilities (with any tech stack).
Experience with large scale services and event driven architecture.
Knowledge of modern DBs (at least one, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elastic, Mongo, etc')
Strong interpersonal skills.
Understanding of business related matters.
