Senior Database Engineer

*Need DBA/DBRE skills for Oracle, PostgreSQL and AWS RDS.*

*Role Description*

This is a contract hybrid role located in Yehud Monosson with flexibility for some remote work. We're seeking a Senior Database Engineer (Oracle/PostgreSQL) to manage database systems including design, development, administration, and data modeling. Day-to-day tasks include creating complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, managing security, and ensuring data integrity. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with other teams to resolve database-related issues.

*Qualifications*
* Experienced DBA
* *DB HA capabilities (for deploying Oracle RAC on AWS).*
* ALM, LRE and APM experience (PG, Oracle, Vertica and MySQL).
* Solving vulnerabilities specific to DB.
* Oracle, PostgreSQL DBA skills, preferably in a Linux environment
* Good knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Golden Gate, RAC implementation and PostgreSQL active-passive cluster
* Experience administering MongoDB, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
* Solid experience with the Linux operating system and command set.
* Use EM, Confio Ignite, Toad and other tools to identify areas for optimization.
* Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions and use good judgement.
* Good written and communication skills in English
