SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented Senior Technical Accountant in Israel to support with different technical accounting projects, month-end close processes, and ensure compliance with US\IL GAAP for our Israeli Subsidiary and the US corporate parent, with a primary focus on the US entity. The role involves collaboration with multiple departments, participation in audit processes, and supporting financial statement preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Accounting: Provide expert support on complex technical accounting projects, including the implementation and documentation of new accounting standards, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Israeli GAAP.
Preparing Statutory Financials: Assist with timely preparation of the monthly statutory financials, this includes recording intercompany journal entries.
Month-End Close: Support month-end close activities, focusing on ASC 606 revenue recognition, equity, and deferred revenue accounting.
Annual Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated and statutory financial statements and support both US and Israel statutory audits, ensuring compliance with respective standards and tax filings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with external consultants on Israeli tax projects and initiatives, and collaborate with finance, tax, and legal teams to align on accounting treatments.
Process Improvements: Assist in projects to automate and improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency by leveraging our ERP and CRM systems.
Other Tasks: Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned by the Technical Accounting Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

CPA certification in Israel (required).
Minimum of three years of relevant experience, with at least two years in Big 4 public accounting.
Strong knowledge of both US GAAP and Israeli GAAP.
Bilingual proficiency in Hebrew and English (both written and spoken).
Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite and Salesforce preferred) is a big plus.
Experience in SaaS/Hi-tech industry audits is a strong advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
