This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Rocket Center, WV.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Weapon Systems Division.Specific responsibilities include:Perform preliminary and detailed design of electronic devices, including design, analysis, manufacture and testProvide engineering support for production manufacturing programs that covers all aspects of engineering, fastest exposure for engineering career developmentParticipate in selection of electronic components and processes for fabrication of productOversee all aspects of testing efforts on assigned project, including planning, component fabrication, test execution, data reduction, and final reportingCompile and analyze test data to validate electronic circuitsTroubleshoot technical and product issuesPerform design tasks on critical safety products that would include schematic design, circuit board layout, packaging, circuit simulation/analysis and component tolerance analysisInterface with customers regarding product technical status and potential product improvementsBasic Qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2. Basic qualifications for an Engineer 1 are a Bachelor's Degree. Basic qualifications for an Engineer 2 are a Master's Degree.A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institutionBe majoring in or having majored in Electrical EngineeringBe able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications:Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higherExperience or coursework in FPGA programming and logic circuit designExperience or coursework in LabView, MatLab, VHDL, Cameo, Mentor Graphics, or C++Salary Ranges:Level 1: $65,800 - $98,800Level 2: $79,300 - $118,900campusjobsPrimary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
