Product Engineering Manager

Join a leading defense technology company and take a key role as a Product Engineering Manager within a dynamic manufacturing environment, supporting the development and ongoing improvement of advanced, life-saving radar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead product engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) to sustaining engineering.
Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Engineers, driving technical excellence and team performance.
Drive the successful transfer of products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
Provide ongoing engineering support to production lines and subcontractors.
Lead root cause analysis, failure investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Manage engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and ensure accurate product documentation.
Collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, System Engineering, Integration & Test, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Management teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, yield, and cost reduction.
Support product qualification, manufacturing readiness, and configuration management activities.
Act as the primary engineering focal point for sustaining products, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
At least 5 years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, or a similar engineering role.
At least 2 years of proven managerial experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
Experience with complex electronic assemblies, PCBAs, and multidisciplinary systems.
Proven experience transferring products from R&D to manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing environment; defense industry experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
