Tax Analyst - student position

Description:

We are looking for a sharp and passionate analyst to join our duties & taxes team in a part-time role. 

In this position, you will analyze internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with the tax team leader and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, finance, accounting, and project management teams.

• Support day-to-day tax-related tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data processing and analysis.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

• Lead and manage independent projects, driving insights and recommendations.

• Support business-related inquiries by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

• 1st or 2nd-year student in Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

• Passion for data with strong analytical and technical skills.

• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Fluent in English (written & spoken) with strong communication skills.

• Experience with QlikView/Qlik Sense – an advantage.

• Experience working with big data in a high-scale environment – an advantage.

• Strong SQL skills, including querying large, complex datasets – an advantage.

• Availability to work 2-3 days per week.
