Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about building infrastructure and DevOps methodologies to empower the company to scale effectively.

You will join a small team and work in a high-velocity startup with a fun environment where products and ecosystems are still being defined and developed, giving you the chance to influence some of the core tools used and be a part of every stage of development from concept to deployment. You will need to be a self-starter, ready to dig in and own projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver quality results.

What will your day to day look like:

Scaling our media processing and web services infrastructure to support extreme loads of data and traffic - We have 1000s pods and 100s nodes on EKS

Own deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and uptime of all of our production AWS cloud environments.
Infrastructure for video processing, continuous ML training and real-time prediction.
Building, updating, and implementing CI/CD pipeline and DevOps automation processes, methodologies, and tools.
Work closely with Engineering and Data teams, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Stay on top of modern technologies with our infra stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Redis, MySQL

Your areas of expertise most relevant to this role:

At Least 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer role preferably at a startup company

Strong technical skills, good system and infrastructure design knowledge
Proficient in working with Kubernetes stack: Docker, K8S, Helm, ArgoCD, Ingress, Service mesh etc
Proficient in working with CI/CD tools: Jenkins/GH Actions/Gitlab CI
Proven experience writing and maintaining infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform, Crossplane - advantage)
Experienced with monitoring and central logging technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix – advantage)
Familiar with how modern web applications work and scale
Networking, firewall rules management and application security knowledge
Familiar with Linux environment, scripting and programming
Ability to see the bigger picture and carry out system architecture planning
Experienced with optimization of resources – advantage
Experienced with SOC2 compliance – advantage
Knowledge in any programming language (Python, Nodejs, Ruby) - advantage
Independence, ownership, and a sense of urgency. A “Self-starter” with a startup mentality
