We are seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) for a long-term aircraft maintenance opportunity in Israel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for line and/or base maintenance across Boeing and Airbus aircraft, with a strong focus on avionics, aircraft electrical systems, troubleshooting, defect rectification and certification of maintenance work.
This opportunity is particularly suited to experienced B2 certifying engineers with a Boeing 737 MAX type rating who are willing to relocate to Israel.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
* Carry out avionics troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and defect rectification.
* Perform and certify maintenance activities within the privileges of a B2 license.
* Ensure all maintenance work complies with applicable Part-145 requirements, regulatory standards, OEM maintenance data and company procedures.
* Certify completed maintenance work in accordance with applicable EASA/FAA requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in aircraft technical logs and maintenance management systems.
* Coordinate with operations, planning and logistics teams to support the safe and timely release of aircraft.
* Apply extensive knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems to resolve technical issues.
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
* Work independently while also collaborating effectively with maintenance and operational teams.
Aircraft Experience
Experience across the following aircraft types is highly desirable:
* Boeing 737 NG
* Boeing 737 MAX
* Airbus A320 CEO
* Airbus A320 NEO
* Boeing 777 (GE)
* Airbus A300-600 (all engines)
Additional aircraft type ratings and experience are an advantage.
Requirements
* Valid EASA or FAA Part-66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License.
* B737 MAX type rating – mandatory.
* Minimum 10 years of avionics/aircraft maintenance experience.
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience on Boeing 737 NG/MAX.
* Strong experience in aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
* Experience performing troubleshooting and defect rectification.
* Experience certifying maintenance work under B2 license privileges.
* Knowledge of Part-145 maintenance requirements.
* Current training/certification in:
* Human Factors
* EWIS
* Fuel Tank Safety
* Familiarity with aircraft maintenance management systems such as AMOS or TRAX is an advantage.
* Strong English communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a shift-based environment.
* Willingness to work overtime, including Fridays and Saturdays, where operationally required.
Working Arrangements
* Six-day operational schedule.
* Rotating shift work.
* Friday and Saturday work may be required.
* Overtime opportunities available based on operational requirements.
* Work may involve both line and base maintenance activities.
