Description
The Senior SAP FICO Analyst is responsible for the functional design, configuration, delivery, and support of Record-to-Report processes across Align’s global operations. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role, partnering closely with finance executives, business owners, and IT teams to drive scalable, best-in-class SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform SAP ECC configuration in all core FICO areas (GL, AA, AP, AR, Banking, CCA, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing).
Serve as the functional expert for global Record-to-Report processes and cross-module impacts (SD/MM/PP).
Conduct design workshops, gather requirements, and define scalable solutions for global finance teams.
Prepare functional specifications (RICEFW) for reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAPIs/RFCs, user exits, and integrations.
Lead or support end-to-end project delivery, including design, configuration, testing, documentation, and go-live.
Support global harmonization and standardization of finance processes.
Partner directly with the CFO organization, finance directors, and regional finance leaders.
Serve as the functional liaison between business stakeholders and IT.
Investigate and resolve configuration-related issues.
Coordinate and support testing cycles, UAT, and training efforts.
Contribute to design preparation for Align’s future S/4HANA implementation (solution readiness, gap analysis, process mapping).
Stay current with S/4 capabilities and SAP best practices.
Strong advantage: SAP BRIM experience and its integration with FICO.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
Deep knowledge of key FICO/RTR processes: General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Banking, Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis
Experience collaborating directly with CFOs or senior finance management.
Strong background working in global, multi-region organizations.
Experience with SAP full life-cycle implementations (global preferred).
Degree or certification: CPA / MBA - advantage
Israel Localization knowledge - advantage
Required:
SAP S/4HANA experience
Solid understanding of SD/MM/PP integrations.
Fluent in English.
