This position is based in Tel Aviv, and you will report directly to the Data Science Team Leader.

The opportunity  

• Design, experiment, research, develop and productize advanced NLP solutions in various domains: classification, summarization, translation, enrichment, explainability, information extraction, information retrieval, and so on.
• Finding the latest technology to improve our AI capabilities in a variety of languages.
• Using advanced deep learning and large language models, to enhance Shield's ability to find the needle in a haystack in the world of structured & unstructured data of financial electronic communication. 
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
• Innovate, develop, and test state-of-the-art approaches to solve our challenging problems: domain adaptation, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, zero- and few-shot learning, using open and close large language models.
• Assist and mentor other team members in the implementation and research.
• Help to lead the technical roadmap.

Experience and skills 

• M.Sc in Computer Science, Math, or related disciplines
• 4+ years of hands-on industry experience in NLP, deep learning, large language models, generative AI, and prompt engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering AI-powered projects – a must
• Proficiency in Python – a must
• Strong technical skills – an advantage
• Ph.D. in exact science – an advantage
• Result-driven and problem-solver
• Self-learner
• Team player
