Product Operations Assistant (Student position)

Is it you? 

We are seeking for a technically inclined student or early-career professional to support the Product Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with systems and tools, and bringing structure to processes. You’ll lead operational projects, build workflow efficiencies in Jira, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, and design.

This position is temporary for 6-9 months with an option with the possibility of extension.

What you’ll do: 

Lead the Audit Trail Project 

• Coordinate and document the scope, timelines, milestones, and responsibilities. 
• Conduct research on audit trail standards and competitor approaches. 
• Perform a gap analysis: Compare current audit trail events in the system against the original product requirements to identify missing or incomplete elements. 

Jira Automation & Delivery Tracking

• Creating workflows using Jira automation rules
• Create standardized templates for epics, stories, bugs, etc.
• Propose "planned vs. actual" tracking using custom fields or dashboards
• Build dashboards to monitor delivery performance
• Collaborate with PMs to validate and refine the approach

Support Knowledge Base Migration 

• Help plan the move to support the team (TWs, Ops) 
• Audit current documentation and help identify outdated or redundant content. 
• Execute migration steps, working closely with IT on technical needs 

Tools you’ll Use:

• Jira (automations, dashboards, board configuration) 
• Confluence (documentation, planning) 
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) 
• Microsoft Teams (collaboration) 

Preferred Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills. 
• Comfortable using Jira (or quick to learn Atlassian tools). 
• Analytical mindset; ability to understand workflows and process inefficiencies. 
• Independent learner – able to research, self-train, and solve problems with minimal guidance. 
• Initiative and ownership mindset, especially to lead a project end-to-end. 
• Tech-savvy and quick to pick up new tools.
