Manufacturing Software & Process Engineer - Camera Sensing Systems

Manufacturing Software & Process Engineer - Camera Sensing Systems

Leading Defense Company | Product Development to Production

You will play a key role in taking products from the end of development into production - adapting software and processes to each product configuration, supporting manufacturing readiness, and helping resolve technical issues along the way.

What You’ll Do

• Understand the full manufacturing process for complex electro-optical camera systems.
• Prepare production plans, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Adapt dedicated software tools to specific product configurations, such as image size, resolution, pixels, and camera parameters - primarily in MATLAB, with some Python.
• Support the transition of new products from development into serial production.
• Investigate and support resolution of production and field issues, such as camera focus or imaging performance problems.
• Work closely with development, production, and quality teams to ensure a smooth transfer to manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of MATLAB - candidates who studied MATLAB recently and have no industry experience are also welcome to apply.
• Understanding of the product lifecycle and the transition from development to manufacturing.
• Strong technical writing skills and the ability to create clear production documentation.
• Systematic, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.

Advantage

• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with camera systems, imaging, electro-optics, or vision-based sensing.
• Experience in manufacturing processes, production engineering, or defense industry environments.
