Assistant Treasurer JB-4660

A leading fashion retail chain is seeking an Assistant Treasurer for its accounting department. The role carries responsibility for managing and controlling the company's funds, handling cash, and monitoring budgets.

The role includes:

• Responsibility for receiving cash from the chain's registers, counting funds, and performing ongoing control.
• Management and control of the company's cash flow.
• Monitoring and control of budgets.
• Responsibility for registers, deposits, payments, and collections.
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Ongoing work with suppliers, banks, and internal interfaces.
• Producing ongoing financial reports and supporting monthly closing processes.
• Assisting internal audits and financial managers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer – required.
• Experience handling cash, registers, and financial control – a significant advantage.
• Full proficiency in Office applications, with emphasis on Excel – required.
• Accounting certificate Type 2 or 3 – an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems – an advantage.
• High personal responsibility, reliability, thoroughness, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
